1500-900 BP Various Cirnew kingdoms co-exist, often in conflict
900 BP Ingallish-speaking members of the Community of St.Anson (Ansonites) flee persecution in Cruisana and land on the Cirnevian coast. Others follow over the years
870 BP Ansonites enter into an alliance with the Cirnevian King of ?? against neighbouring states
838 BP Ansonites granted their own territory around Sub Marina (or whatever it will be called!)
800s-700s BP Ansonian influence spreads along the coast and inland, with the Ansonite rulers being acknowledged as Ords by several neighbouring princes.
682-670 BP The War of the Great Alliances pits the Ansonians and their clients against native Cirnew kingdoms. The Ansonians are victorious, and gain most of the territory of modern Ansonia.
668 BP Harold I is crowned King of Ansonia.
296 BP The death of king ? Results in Civil War and the splitting of the country in Cerbay-Ansonia and Agron-Ansonia
228 BP The Great Flood of Cerbay. Cerbay was prone to flooding, and was mockingly called "Sub Marina" by Agronians.

198 BP Gronk conquest of Ansonia. King Henry II of Cerbay-Ansonia is killed.
190 BP In attempt to appease rebellious Ansonians, Gronk installs former King Richard III of Agron-Ansonia as Duke of All Ansonia
187 AP As a snub to his Cerbayvian rivals, Duke Richard officially renamed Cerbay as "Sub Marina"
60-55 BP The First Great Rebellion against Gronk rule, originating in Sub Marina
52 BP In order to subdue rebellious subjects, the Duke establishes a stronger presence in Sub Marina, which quickly becomes the main seat of government.
40-31 BP Second Great Rebellion
31 BP The Plague hits Ansonia, putting an end to the rebellion as the country descends into chaos.
20 BP All the immediate ducal family falls victim to the plague.
19 BP A Viceroy is appointed to replace the dead duke.
173 AP Michael Agron, a cousin of the old Agronian royal family, is installed as Viceroy
196 AP Michael Agron dies and is succeeded by his son, Thomas
203 AP The Empire agrees to restore the dukedom, and Thomas becomes duke of an increasingly dictatorial regime.
250 AP When the duke's nationalist policies go too far, Gronk deposes him and restores the Viceroyalty
296 AP Collapse of the empire and establishment of the Cooperative Commonwealth of the Union of Northern Gronk.
296 AP The Kemedese royal family is driven into exile and Kemedal added to the lands of the pro-Gronk Viceroyalty
298 AP The Ansonian Provisional Authority rises to prominence and argues for a restoration of the Agron dukedom.
299-07 APA proclaims autonomy from Northern Gronk
299-12-24 AP The APA proclaims the independence of the Ansonian Federation, leading to the War of Independence.
300-08 PVM captures Agronia
300-12-08 Defection of 27 Gronkian naval vessels to Ansonia
300-12-31 Ansonian independence secured
301-01-15 Makeshift, and almost certainly rigged, referendum on the restoration of the monarchy.
301-01-28 Richard IV of Agron crowned king.
301-302 The APA regime presents the image of a democracy but is in fact a dictatorship. Elections are rigged, the variety of political parties is a mirage, as all are controlled by the APA.
302-02-18 Kemedal declares independence
302-03-14 Loss of Kemedal leads to a coup d'état and the fall of the APA/Agron regime
302-03-18 King Richard IV and his family flee into exile, but never relinquishes his claim to the throne.
302-03-20 Provisional Democratic Government installed.
302-05-16 Constitutional Convention elected. First meeting one week later.
302-09-12 Two version of proposed constitution agreed : one monarchical; one republican.
302-10-28 Referendum approves monarchical constitution, with a return to the pre-plague Cerbay dynasty
302-11-16 Edward V crowned king. Old pre-Gronk/pre-Federation flag, names and symbols restored.
302-12-18 First General Election under the new constitution.
