Ansonian coins

The currency of Ansonia is the Florin (ƒ) of 100 cents (c). The present currency was introduced in 303 to replace collapsed currencies of the Ansonian Federation and its Gronkian predecessors. As of October 317, ƒ1 equals about CHR$1.30.

Coins are minted in the denominations of 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 50c, ƒ1 and ƒ2. Banknotes are issued in the denominations of ƒ5, ƒ10, ƒ20 and ƒ50.

The florin was a coin in the pre-Gronkia Ansonian kingdom. It was first minted in the 4th century BP using silver mined around the town of Floringham, from which the coin derived its name.
